Are these items new or second-hand?

We have a large range of second-hand items have been professionally refurbished by experienced white goods technicians who have over 35 years experience. All fully refurbished second-hand fridges, washing machines and dryers come with three (3) months replacement warranty to guarantee they work great.

We stock a selection of fridges, washing machines and televisions that are Brand New and Factory Second. The Warranties for these products are different for every brand and range from six (6) months to three (3) years.

We also stock a selection of brand new products including lounges and sofas, bed frames and mattresses. All brand new furniture products come with 1 year warranty and mattresses come with 5 years warranty.

How old are the second-hand fridges, washing machines and dryers?

Brands unfortunately do not print manufacture dates on machines, so you have to use a bit of guess work. We clearly provide model numbers on each label should you wish to do more research.

No matter the age, we guarantee each item has been professionally refurbished and is fully operational. Plus every item is backed by our supplier’s three (3) month full replacement warranty to ensure you get the quality you deserve!

Where do all these fridges, washing machines and dryers come from?

We source all second-hand fridges, washing machines and dryers from a trade supplier we have had a close relationship with for over 10 years. Another great family owned business who refurbish white goods full time, are the best in the industry, and Sydney Wide Discounts purchases all of their stock exclusively.

We do not buy secondhand products from private sellers.

With our supplier’s industry contacts, expertise and excellent work ethic, they are able to provide us with a wide variety of stock every week which allows us to offer our customers a great range to suit many different requirements, conditions and budgets.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards via Stripe’s secure online payment gateway, as well as PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. We also have instalment options through AfterPay and Zippay so you can buy now and pay later! In-Store, we accept all of the above payment methods, as well as cash.

What size fridge should I buy?

Below is a rough guide on how many litres your fridge should be based on the number of people living in your household:

1-2 people / 100L – 400L
3-4 people / 300L – 550L
5+ people / 400L or bigger

It is important before purchasing to take exact measurements of the space where you will be placing your fridge. Here at Sydney Wide Discounts, we recommend filling the space with as big of a fridge as possible as to utilise the area.

Fridges do however need room to “breathe” due to the heat they produce. As a general rule, leave at least a One (1) inch space on each side and at the top if being placed in a cabinet.

Should I buy a front load or top load washing machine?

The benefits of a top load washing machine:

No need to bend over
Shorter wash cycles on normal programs
Top load detergent more suitable for cold washes
Add and remove items any time during the cycle
Generally cheaper to buy
Easier to move

The benefits of a front load washing machine :

More energy and water efficient which equates to being cheaper to run
More gentle on clothes
Compact in size (all 85cm high, 60cm width, with only the depth differing depending on size)
Put your dryer on top to save space
Higher spin speeds which equals quicker drying times
Less detergent needed

Do you deliver?

Yes! Sydney Wide Discounts has a delivery service which covers most of the Greater Sydney Metropolitain Area. At this stage, we are unable to deliver to regional areas or interstate.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are calculated and displayed in the shopping cart. Delivery is calculated by how far away your property is from our shop to drive to. To check how much delivery to your suburb costs, click here.

Can I book next day delivery for my order?

Yes! If you place your order before 4pm and its not fully booked, you can choose next day delivery at no additional cost*.

*Sydney Wide Discounts delivers everyday except Thursdays.

Do you install and remove the old machine?

Yes! When our experienced delivery team deliver your item they will remove the old item and take it away for you as long as it is ready to go before they arrive.

When will I find out what time my delivery will arrive?

Our delivery team will text message you the evening before between 4-7pm to let you know your estimated two (2) hour delivery timeframe for the following day. Your allocated driver will also contact you 15-30 minutes before arrival.

If the time doesn’t work for you or something has come up, simply reply to the automated text message with “RESCHEDULE” before midnight (To avoid re-delivery charges), and the shop will contact you the following day to book another day which suits.

First delivery is at 6:30am.

When will I receive my receipt?

Your receipt will be emailed to you the day of your purchase. Please keep your receipt for warranty purposes.
